Nike SB Dirty Money Pack white/purple/black/tan

Nike SB pay tribute to ‘Dirty Money’, the early 90s underground Brazilian skate video that went viral, blowing up the local scene and creating a legacy that’s still felt on Brazil’s streets to this day. Inspired by the big and baggy DIY fashions of the day, this texture rich Dunk Mid and Blazer Hi features stills from the original video in the insole. Created to mark the release of a brand new Dirty Money documentary that explores the impact of the original video on Brazilian skate culture, this Brazil exclusive will be released on May 11 in time for the film’s theatrical premiere.

The Dunk was dipped in purple suede and given some white/purple colored laces, while the Blazer sported a black/tan/grey-orange colorway over a suede upper. Both pairs were accessorized with a dollar sign lace lock. They will begin releasing to select Nike SB accounts on May 11, 2010 in Brazil, which coincides with the date the film will be shown.

Last week there was the premier of the documentary of the Dirty Money Brasil Skateboard culture showed at the Montalban Theater in LA. We featured the Hurley x Nike SB – Dirty Money Pack back in April, and now have updated news about its release. The film “Dirty Money”, a documentary for skateboarding and how it grew exponentially from the 80s until now has provided inspiration for a collaboration between Nike SB and Hurley. The Blazer Hi and Dunk Mid Pro included in the pack, comes with some nice details as well lacelocks, graphics, photo print insoles and more
