For the second time this year, Ease DaMan, a sales rep for New York City-based streetwear company aNYthing, visited 21 Mercer to create a Bespoke Air Force 1. For his latest one-off creation Ease DaMan used a variety of materials available in the Bespoke catalog, including patent leather, nylon, rubberized leather, waxed canvas, suede, vinyl, foil and micro perforated patent, to put together a predominantly red Air Force 1.The dominant material of choice was a blue faux-snakeskin, seen working the entire upper. A lighter shade of blue was used for tabs on the tongue and heel, as well as a cross-stitch near the forefoot and the Swoosh border.The sneakers were than completed with a translucent midsole with gold stitching and a gum underbelly.

Originally previewed over the summer, we now have a closer look at the Gorilla Biscuits x Vans collaboration as the official launch is only weeks away. The New York-based hardcord rock band, which is made up of 5 straightedge vegans, teamed up with the footwear manufacturer to put together a two-pack consisting of the brand’s SK8-Hi and Slip-On model’s.The Sk8-Hi uses the same two-tone trick, though tan and brown are used on the quarter panel and forefoot, respectively.The shoe has good arch support with the better cushion impact absorber.The outsole of the shoe has vulcanized waffle to provide comfort to the foot.It’s unclear how limited the release will be, but the shoes are expected to begin arriving at select Vans retailers in January 2011.

Thousands of people have crossed the threshold of 21 sites of Nike Sportswear Mercer Street, New York, but few have so far participated in the experiment. Seen here for the first time is a upcoming collaborative release from New Balance and Highs & Lows, a boutique located in Perth, Australia, on New Balance’s 577 silhouette. Two sneakers have been designed in what will be known as the “Night  Day” Pack, a pack with shoe’s stylized to accommodate the beach-side strolls, mid-day cookouts and streetside sundowners that all take place under the blue skies and golden sun of Perth.

The sneakers shown here on the cover of Sneaker Freaker 20 issue is the "Day" sneaker, with shades of blue suede, white mesh and 3M highlights to bring out the theme of the shoe. In addition, an image of fire of the sun appears between the soles. "Night" sneaker, which is not represented at present, will be the opposite, with a furtive glance, darker and a little more solidarity in the materials.
